Scott has been living in Courtenay, BC for 25 years, beginning his time on the island in Victoria, after moving from his birthplace of Mexico (he speaks fluent Spanish). Scott is licensed in Strata Management, Property Management, Real Estate, and as a Managing Broker. He has successfully worked in the Comox Valley and Campbell River for over 18 years. He also picked up ten years of experience in residential construction in Korea, Israel, and Chile, where he built manufactured homes with a local company that sent him overseas. During his travels and through his diverse work, he has learned much about the details of home construction and real estate, which has served him well as a real estate agent.
Along with the stunning scenery, and endless outdoor activities that still inspire him two and a half decades later, he appreciates that the valley continues to be an affordable place to settle down. In his spare time, Scott is often out with his wife, daughter and her partner, boating, taking nature walks, or playing squash and tennis at the local recreation centre. As a rural homeowner himself, he runs a hobby farm with sheep, chickens and two Wheaten terriers.
Scott is a longtime supporter of the Diabetes Association, as a diabetic himself, and he is passionate about supporting the local art community through Comox Valley Arts, as his wife is a local artist.
